Miley Cyrus has landed herself a new acting gig in the film Wake, an adaptation of Lisa McMann's young adult novel of the same name. Miley is reportedly slated to star as Janie, a girl who can enter other people's dreams. No other information, like a director or production date, have been released, but Paramount and MTV films have also purchased the film rights for the film's sequels, Fade and Gone.
Does this mean Miley will star in a trilogy? We sure hope not! While she's not a horrible actress, she's sure not a great one and we wouldn't want her anywhere near our films! Those acting lessons can't come soon enough!
