An Ode to My Birthday: Charlotte Free and Pink Hair

Ahhhh, pink hair. There is something so rebellious and delicious about the color. I realize that there may be a rare few of you that have tried it and trust me, I never thought I would. But just a couple pieces here and there can actually be quite fun!!! (Just for a little while of course.)  

Today is my birthday!! I was officially pink four years ago today, so to skip down memory lane a bit, I thought I'd do a model spotlight on my favorite new model of the season, Charlotte Free. She is 18 and was discovered in an arcade here in LA?! Insane, right? I love that all the designers have accepted her punky look. She has certainly given the runway shows a "splash of color" this year. I live for it! Just for fun, I'll show you guys some old snaps of myself when I was pink. For those of you who know me best, know that I will try any color, but will NEVER trim my crazy long locks!  Enjoy the nostalgia on this special birthday post.

Just Because...

I have had these pictures sitting on my desktop for quite some time now, so I thought I would share a favorite shoot of mine with my favorite model, Cintia Dicker. Unbelievably gorgeous, isn't she? She is so unique looking and has that perfect mix of high fashion and sexiness. I also decided to throw it an old video of her being interviewed backstage at a show. She is so sweet and shy! Aww! Makeover Madness: Abbey Lee Kershaw

So before I begin posting about NYFW, I just had to put up this picture of model Abbey Lee Kershaw's new platinum blonde hair! Personally, I love it! Her hair color to me was always ehhh and this really pops on her fair skin. Everyone is calling it a bob though? Uhhh definitely not a bob... My hair now is a bob. This is still somewhat long, just not super long like her hair used to be. Anyways, I think it's great. Jewls, I think you should go this color. No joke. XO, Liza

Model Obsession: Monika Rohanova

So I saw this model on someone's blog the other day... I forgot who, but I am loooving her! From the Czech Republic, Monika is very very new. I could barely find any information on her! She's graced the covers of a few magazines in Italy and Switzerland, but has yet to walk in any runway shows. I personally think she is drop dead gorgeous. She reminds me of a more exotic Jessica Stam. Here are some photos I found of Monika. She is most definitely one to watch come Paris fashion week! XO, Liza

Model Obsession: Elisa Sednaoui

She's Karl Lagerfeld's new muse, Christian Louboutin is her godfather, and she's absolutely stunning. Need I say more? Elisa Sednaoui, a gorgeous twenty-something model from Italy, recently caught my eye while I was reading the July issue of Vogue. Her mom, who was once a model and even an editor for Italian Vogue, is Elisa's style inspiration. I love this girl... She's got a subtle slyness/sexiness to her. Model of the Moment: Bambi Northwood-Blyth

At only 19 years old, Australian model Bambi Northwood- Blyth (original name Stephanie) is definitely one to watch. Although she hasn't done any shows yet here in the U.S. or in Paris, Bambi was blowing up at Australian fashion week. Recently gracing the cover of Australia's Harper's Bazaar, Bambi has also appeared in magazines, such as Russh and Oyster. Personally, I think this girl is gorgeous... her bushy eyebrows and all.
