Rag & Bone Fall 2011

Continuing on with the NYFW shows, I was truly in awe of how amazing Rag & Bone was! I usually am not the biggest fan, as their clothing is a tad too tailored and preppy for me... I'm sure Jewls feels the same way. ;) This collection though was pretty awesome. Fur, some incredible socks, and crazy pops of cobalt blue and fire engine red? I'm in! Check out my favorite picks below. XO, Liza

The styling of this whole look is impeccable. LOVE.
Need that cardigan STAT! I am a major sucker for anything nubby and fuzzy. This is so great.
I'm kind of into this whole preppy look, especially that skirt!
Another perfect look head to toe. That skirt is very Mary-Kate. Oh and that sweater with the zips? Add that to my wish list too.
Is that a coat?? I am beyond in love with the collar on it! Those socks as well really pull the whole look together. I think this is my #1...

Vena Cava Fall 2011

Well, it's already NYFW? Craziness! Time really does fly. Anyways, here is one of the first shows I clicked through last night. I was actually surprisingly impressed by the gals of Vena Cava! I haven't really been in love with their stuff since they first came onto the scene in 2005 or so... This collection though is fabulous! I love anything 80's or 90's, so this dancer inspired grunge theme is beyond up my alley. I am obsessed with the off the shoulder tops, as well as the make-up. Take a peak at my favorite looks below. Happy weekend everyone! XO, Liza

This whole outfit is incredible. I am in LOVE with the pants. The top too is awesome. Just a BIT of midriff. So sexy and chic.
Darling. This is very Sonia Rykiel to me.
For some reason, I adore this. It's very reminiscent of a modern dancer... the shoes and all.
Whether this is a dress or separates, I love it.
More high waisted bagginess? Bring it on! Love this whole look.
Last but not least! This is amazing. That cutout of the top and the striped sheerness of the skirt? Beautiful.

Mandy Coon Spring 2011

Hey guys! Ok, so let the reviewing from my side begin! So far, Mandy Coon is my absolute favorite. I first saw her pieces here in LA at Church Boutique. Church, in my opinion, is hands down the most killer boutique in all of LA at the moment. If I had a never ending amount of cash, I would spend it all there! The buyers are geniuses and their eye for the up and coming is impeccable. Ironically, without even having a discussion with Lize about seeing Mandy's pieces at Church, she posted the bunny bag that Mandy designed. Soon after, Mandy showed for the first time at NYFW and completely made my mind explode into a million little pieces. So without further ado, here are my top picks from Mandy Coon Spring 2011! Enjoy!

X. Jewls

My favorite. Ohh, it hurts.

Burlap? Yes, please.

Stunning.

Chiffon and leather. Rick Owens mixed with a bit of Givenchy. I live for this.

The construction of this whole look is too much for me to handle.

Simply beautiful.

Gary Graham Spring 2011

Ok, so I know I have only looked at a few collections from NYFW thus far, but Gary Graham's is incredible! I did a post on him a while back because I think his designs are so innovative, deconstructed, and unique. His shows are not very long since he's not a major top designer yet, but they are nothing short of true amazingness! XO, Liza

Ummm what is this whole outfit? The puffed sleeved jacket? The unraveling peasant-like blouse? The leggings? The shoes? Obsessed!!!

I love love love this sweater.

I never get sick of the white dress/ beat up boots look.

Another jacket with those puffy sleeves. These pants are killer too.

Karen Walker Spring 2011

You can always count on Karen Walker to give a good consistent show at NYFW. Jewls and I first discovered her designs about five years ago at Hejfina, an AMAZING boutique that unfortunately closed in Chicago. Karen's pieces are bright and easy and truly speak for themselves. Around 2007, she started producing some killer sunglasses that are truly irresistible and of course are featured in her shows. Although I feel this wasn't one of her strongest collections, there were still some fantastic pieces coming down the runway. Check them out below! XO, Liza

I love this pattern.

Ooooh. This is fabulous. I like the texture of the bottom half.

Love how the top and shorts contrast.

This top is so cute... and the pants are even better! I love how loose they are.

Whoa pop of color! This skirt is so fun. Perfect with that grey tank since it's such a piece!

I think this is a onesie... hoping it's not a shirt and shorts because I want this for spring. I adore the sleeves!

Chanel Party

Before I review some more shows, I had to share a few of my favorite photos from the Chanel Party in Soho. Check them out below! XO, Liza

Newly platinum blonde Abbey Lee Kershaw. So stunning here.

Alexa and Erin. This picture is TOO cute. I love how different their styles are from eachother.

Pretty Julia Restoin Roitfeld.

The ever so popular Chanel temporary tattoos. I always forget about mine! I need to use those babies up!

3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2011

Hmmm... I liked Phillip Lim's show. I usually am not totally in love with his presentations, but there are always a few pieces I go crazy over. This show was pretty typical of him... a bunch of casual looks, followed by some gorgeous dresses to top it off. His designs are definitely on the preppy side with a little edge thrown in. I like that about Lim. Check out my faves below. XO, Liza

How amazing is this look? A tan sweater and collar with bright blue shorts? Obsessed.

Pretty cool, huh?

I have been loving printed pants as of lately. I got a pair a few months ago and am looking for my next. These ones are just great.

This is kind of like "The Sound of Music" for 2011. Hahaha!

Great shorts. Would wear these a ton!

To end the show, an expected yet beautiful Phillip Lim party dress.

Elise Overland Spring 2011

Be patient everyone... I am going through the fashion week photos beyond slowly, as I have been crazy busy! Jewls better help me out covering some of these shows! Elise Overland was of course fab as ever. Here are some of my top picks! XO, Liza

Can never go wrong with a major pop of color in a mainly black and white show. I love the sleeves on this one.

Ooooh! Adore this coat! The dress too!

I am usually not crazy about short tight mini dresses, but this is an exception! HOT.

Sexy AND sweet.

Love how retro this white number is.

Amazing sweater, right?

Doo Ri Spring 2011

I have always admired Doo Ri. Her designs are refined and ladylike, but pretty fashion forward. This collection didn't blow my mind, but a few pieces were definite standouts. Check them out below! XO, Liza

I like how this dress is fitted, but a bit baggy. The print is beautiful too.

Umm... FAVORITE of the collection hands down. SICK!

This is just simple and exquisite. Adore the shorts.

I am definitely a sucker for anything cropped. Add a collar and that hint of preppiness? Done and done!

Chanel Resort 2011

Chanel's Resort 2011 collection in St. Tropez was breathtaking. I loved so many of the looks in the show. Here are a bunch of my faves... Swimsuits, blazers, and some pretty amazing jewelry. Enjoy! XO, Liza

This whole look is fabulous.

Adore this little dress and the layered necklaces.

Cuteness! I love the briefs so much.

Ah, this whole look is insane. The cropped jacket, the briefs, the little bag...

I never wear one pieces, but I love this one. I would pair it with dark denim high waisted shorts and some Givenchy jellies.

Ugh, amazing. Want it now.

Not crazy about the "My Little Pony" skirt, but I love the cropped striped sweater.
