I am always all for discovering new fashion sites, whether it be ones like Polyvore where you can put outfits together or ones like Fashionista.com that explore all aspects of the fashion world. Boutiques.com, which launched this past November, is a brand new site made by Google that allows you to create your own "boutique", based on styles you like, as well as silhouettes, colors, etc. Now that I think of it, it's kind of like the Pandora of fashion! Once you pick your style preferences, Boutiques.com breaks it down and shows you tons of different options that are available for purchase from all your favorite online shopping destinations, whether it be Net-a-porter or Neimans. I highly recommend this site for people that have a hard time finding things they like online.... I, on the other hand, practically know EVERY website that carries my favorite designers/brands, so I don't use it that often. It's definitely fun though to click on what you "love, "hate", and want to add to your personal boutique. Not to mention you are able to browse all the different celebrity boutiques and see what they like! Check out what the site looks like below... And don't forget to "folllow" me if you plan on joining or are already a member on the site! My username is LizaW. Happy Monday everyone! XO, Liza

Black Listed
Web site spotlight: IDONTLIKEMONDAYS.US
I love love love this site. I am in a head to toe black mood today so here is my fantasy outfit. At times it feels so refreshing to just wear all black. It is simple, clean, chic, and with an unexpected silhouette, it has a strange classiness to it... And in a messy, overproduced, provoked, premeditated, miscellaneous outfit trend around us... sometimes it's just nice to go ALL monochromatic! Hope you're all fab and have a good weekend!

Pepper Pistol Tunic. $565. This piece is sick.

Improvd Wool Coat. I want to snatch this for winter. (In LA. Ha, if you can even say that). Whatever, I want this coat. The construction is unreal. $319.

Jeffery Campbell Bal-Nu Flat Boot. I feel like a punky witch would wear these. Ha. Great with jeans, tights and a dress, knee highs and a skirt, thermals and a big fabulous overcoat. Ugh, the possibilities are endless. They would be a surprise pop into any outfit. A definite must have. $229.

Barbara Gongini Fur Bag. Creepy, but amazing. This is a great alternative when you don't want to have to hold a clutch all night long. Such a nice new take on a fur bag. I am into it. $152.

Lady Grey Ring. So me. I want it now. $132.

Barbara Gongini. This ring is made out of recycled rubber. Bahaha! I love it! So fabulous and fun! $77.

Website Spotlight: WOMEN.FASHIONBEANS.COM
FASHIONBEANS is in a way, the UK's "Who What Wear". It is a fashion blog that covers collections, fashion trends, health and beauty tips, lookbooks, and shopping recommendations. They even have a column for coupon codes for sites all over the UK (super fab). The site is fairly extensive and quite impressive! I went through and gathered a bunch of cute looks for summer. Playsuits, dresses, shorts... ya know, the basics... all for under $150, which is awesome for those "brokey months". Take a peek.

JIN-JA Lace Petal Dress. I want to wear this with my new Allesandro Dell' Acqua pumps I got for my birthday from my Mom!

Fairground Denim Playsuit (Lize would kill this). A total cute summer throw on with a big straw sunhat, massive vintage Dior shades, and Lanvin flats.

Mango by Lee Jean Youn Paper Bag Shorts. I love these shorts. Hate the top. I'd like to pair it with the creme Rachel Comey crop tank and the Lanvin peach pom pom floral sandals we posted earlier.

Potluck and Walsh Angled Dress. Great for brunches with girlfriends or family dinner nights. A good sweet girl look!

Sugarhill Heart Shorts. Darling. Enough said. I could pair these with ANYTHING. Although, I tend to lean toward pairing high waisted shorts with unitards because it's flattering and makes the waist area look less bulky.

Ted Baker Linen Shorts. I guess I'm feeling kind of preppy with this choice, but these are good for running errands and shopping. They could also be paired with a shredded Obesity and Speed or Raquel Allegra top to be more punky at night.

TFNC Lace Crossover Playsuit. I would love this romper with pumps or beat up boots, loads of jewelry, and my hair up in a wild curly top knot with a crazy headband.

Mango Lace Layered Dress. A very pretty dress. I was wondering if the lace would look cheap for the price, but the quality actually looks great! I definitely want to grab this! It would be very dressy for dinner parties with nice pumps. I would also pair this dress with black ripped tights and boots or high tops and a cropped leather jacket... That way I could carry this look year round.

Website Spotlight: Gargyle.com
Ok, this website is alright, but they certainly seem to have a MONOPOLY on all the Karen Walker specs I have been trying to track down. I need every single one of these. The collection begins this week!!!

I had not seen these yet. Definitely grabbing these.

I have been trying to find these forever. AMAZING.

Gorgeous.

Website Spotlight: ShopNastyGal.com
Okay, we can't always buy the best of everything or else we would be homeless. Sometimes we have to suck it up, be humble, and go a little more "cheapie" to make rent in time! The tricky part is finding quality and carefully sifting through the trendy stuff and while during our broke months this can be a little depressing... we can look at it this way... how many girls are out there pretending to have loads of money, buying all status symbol clothing but they are really staying up at night freaking out about their credit card statements?
Liza and I try to be diligent about only spending mad cash on the timeless pieces that will never be deemed "fad-ish" and as for the rest of it... We have a good slew of our cheaper spots we hit up. It's honestly taken years for us to get to this point and not be ballistic with our spending, but now we take our time and we have become waaaaaay more innovative with our ensembles.
Here are some good pieces I have searched for to share with you guys off of this site. They also have a whole vintage section which is nice :) All under $80 bucks. Super fab if you need to do holiday shopping on a budget or if you just need to spruce up your wardrobe!

Website Spotlight: Creatures of Comfort
Creatures of Comfort is by far my favorite store in all of LA for simple but interesting basics. Located on Melrose being a total hole in the wall, it can sometimes be overlooked. The website is completely delicious and like most of the best stores out here, a lot of it goes to clearance because no one really understands how amazing it all is. Here below are a few pieces I am lusting after at the moment.

Alexander Wang Oil Slick Cardigan. I live for this.

VPL Faux Fur Jacket. An easy staple. I love the sleeves in the back.

Zucca Harem Pants

Peter Jensen. I love cute constructional twists on t shirts. Peter Jensen and Burfitt are great at executing just that. This is a precious take on a little boys t-shirt.

Arielle de Pinto Ruffle Gold Mesh Bracelet. Fab for a stack when I'm feeling over-the-top with accessories.

Diana Orving Silk Trousers

Zucca Cut-Out Sweater Dress
Karen Walker Long Sleeve Tee. I am obsessed with tuxedo tails, so naturally this would be a classic basic for me in every color imaginable. Karen Walker has humor and a great sense of construction to a T as simple as this one. I live for it.

Website Spotlight: Forward by Revolve
Revolve Clothing's high end sister site, Forward, is on the list of online boutiques I check out weekly. They carry some of my favorite lines, including Rachel Comey, Tsumori Chisato, Pamela Love jewelry, and so much more. They always have a great selection, however merchandise does fly out (the things I love/want always are gone). Check out some of my favorite pieces from forwardforward.com. XO, Liza

I love these Tsumori Chisato pants so much. The ruching is amazing, as well as the scrunchy waistband.

Again Tsumori, these shorts are killer. Ugh.

Love Preen. This dress is quite pricey, but it is so hot and gorgeous. I love the neckline and the color instantly pops.

Future Classics has some great things right now for fall. I can totally see Jewls wearing this.

This adorable little Acne dress is of course sold out. With or without tights, this would be a perfect number for a night out to dinner with the girls.
