Bill Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus have filed for divorce, as revealed yesterday (October 27). The couple, who have been married for 17 years, filed the documents at the Chancery Court of Williamson County, Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. They released the following statement:
As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.The couple also seeks to "share the care, custody and control" of their three minor children: Miley (who turns 18 next month), Braison (16), and Noah (10).
