"JONAS L.A." Canceled!

Disney has officially announced that "JONAS L.A." has been canceled. Frankly, we're a little surprised that it only last two seasons, but it never did particularly well in the ratings. Not to mention, the Jonas Brothers probably want to focus more on music than television.

More Mean Girls Casting News

As you recall, we've been hearing bits and pieces about casting for Mean Girls 2, which stars a multitude of Disney Channel starlets. Well here's a full update on who's-who:

• Meaghan Martin stars as Jo, the new girl who befriends social outcast Abby
• Jennifer Stone will plays Abby, whose father promises to pay for Jo's college education if she befriends his daughter
• Maiara Walsh will play the lead Plastic.
• Nicole Anderson will play another Plastic (similar to Gretchen from the first film)
• and Diego Boneta (pictured above) has been cast as Jo's love interest

Mean Girls 2 Gets a Little More Disney

Jennifer Stone of "Wizards of Waverly Place" has officially joined the cast of Mean Girls 2! The film, which is currently filming in Atlanta, follows Jo, a girl who makes friends with social outcast Abby because Abby's father promises to pay for the college of her choice. No cast members from the original film (i.e. Lindsay Lohan, Tina Fey, Amanda Seyfried, or Rachel McAdams) will appear in the film.

Jennifer joins a slew of Disney girls who have already been cast. Camp Rock's Meaghan Martin is playing Jo while Maiara Walsh of "Cory in the House" is playing the head of the new Plastics. Nicole Anderson from "JONAS" is playing Hope, the Gretchen of the new Plastics. It is unclear who Jennifer will be playing, but she recently tweeted "First day of shooting and it’s the first time I’ve ever had my name on a chair. One of those moments you remember. I am a lucky gal."

Obviously, this moving isn't going to be anywhere near as great as the original, and these girls aren't the best actresses, but it could be a fun direct-to-DVD guilty pleasure to watch. Guess we'll have to wait to find out!

Nick Jonas and Nicole Anderson: Real-Life Couple?

We know that Nick and Macy will share a romantic bond for the second season of "JONAS", but it seems like Nick Jonas and Nicole Anderson are letting life imitate art! The two are rumored to be dating. We wouldn't be surprised! Those Jonas Brothers sure get around!

The rumors were fueled when they both gave similar answers to interviews at the same time. When asked about the outdoors, Nick told Twist:

Being outdoors is great. It makes you happy, especially if it’s a beautiful day. I went on a hike once with somebody, but it was with a group of friends.

And then Nicole later said:

I’ve definitely been on great outdoor dates. I went to Catalina Island recently – we went hiking and mini-golfing. It was a casual friend-type thing.

Coincidence? Hard to say since neither of them specified who they were hiking with.

We're not sure how we feel about this relationship yet. We'll see how it goes.

"JONAS" Romance Coming Your Way

While the main romance on the hit Disney Channel series "JONAS" is between Joe Jonas and Chelsea Staub's characters, Joe and Stella. However, the second season of the series, which is currently filming, will have a brand new romance.

Nick and Macy (Nicole Anderson) will share a connection after Nick writes a song for her. The relationship will develop slowly over the course of the season.

Poor Kevin. We would like to see when his character, although goofy and unattractive, gets a long-term romance.

The JoBros Keep It Real

This weekend, the Jonas Brothers debuted their new music video, "Keep It Real". "JONAS" costars Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson make appearances in the video.
