Item of the Day: Chloe Cross Strap Ballet Flats

Well now that spring EVERYTHING is popping up on all our favorite sites, I couldn't help but scream outloud when I saw these Chloe flats the other day on Barneys.com. I instantly texted my sister and said, "Pointe shoe ballet flats on Barneys. NEED now." Yes, I never thought I would actually be wanting to wear pointe shoes as real shoes, as I have boxes and boxes full of dead and beat up ones from my ballerina years in my closet... Oh and did I mention they are horribly excruciating after dancing on your toes for hours on end? Well, these ARE different... kind of. Hahahaha. No, they are stunning and I need them on my feet now. How sweet would they look with a little sundress or a cute tee and shorts? So different from the typical Lanvin or Repetto ballet flat. Ahhh well, I guess my wish list for the upcoming season has officially begun. XO, Liza

Item of the Day: Rodarte for Opening Ceremony Cropped Yoke Shirt

So if there is one item at the moment I am absolutely crushing on for spring, it's this Rodarte for Opening Ceremony top. It was love at first sight I must say. Yes the price is high for a tiny little shirt ($495, eek), but look at it?! The puffed sleeves? The crocodile print bustier-esque front? The floral print yoke? The back with the buttons? It is AMAZING and I am OBSESSED.  The end. XO, Liza

Item of the Day: Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Nana Tolteca Harness Boots

I am always looking for the perfect pair of boots that will will scuff up and wear in the way I want them to... That is definitely a hard thing to come across, but these Chloe Sevigny X Opening Ceremony Boots might just be the ones! Not only are they under $300, but they are almost IDENTICAL to the Miu Miu motorcycle boots from two years ago... and probably a fraction of the price! They also look insanely comfortable and that is very important to me when looking for a boot you can wear everyday and anywhere. I will most definitely be trying these on at the store when I go to LA this upcoming Thursday! YAY! I can't wait! Hope you all are having a fabulous weekend. XO, Liza

Item of the Day: Unearthen Crystal Prism Ring

I'm never one to say no to several rings on each hand... Jewls is the same way. The more, the better. I love mixing and matching more simple everyday rings with just one amazing standout statement piece.  The next must have one on my list is Unearthen's Crystal Prism Ring.  Although it's available in a larger version, I feel the smaller one is just perfect. After all, I have very small hands and I do not need to poke an eye out! Ha! How beautiful does it look once it's on though? The ring comes in a few styles: oxidized silver or rose gold with either black onyx or clear quartz. When I do decide to give in and make my purchase, I think I am going to have a really hard time choosing JUST one! XO, Liza

Item of the Day: Henrik Vibskov Knot Palace Cardi

Obsessed. The end.

La Garconne nailed it. I would wear it just like this.

The little white balls sewn on it kill me. So little girl and adolescent looking.

I love how that thin little pop of grey bleeds into all the other colors.

Item of the Day: Marni Lace Up Socks

Ummm how amazing are these everyone? Designer for Marni, Consuelo Castiglioni was obviously inspired by pointe shoes when designing these socks. I could not love that more since I was a ballerina for many years. Throw them on with a plain pump or wedge and you are all set! I would totally invest in these at $82 a pair, but I really do have a lot of ballet-inspired footwear, whether they are my Capezio studded ballet slippers, the Givenchy criss cross wedges, or my Bloch red patent leather tie up flats. Oh yeah and my Chanel criss cross tights! Agh! Oh well. Maybe I will leave it to Jewls to get these because one of us must have them! XO, Liza

Item of the Day: Rachel Antonoff Hitchcock Dress

Alright, so the minute I saw Alexa Chung wearing this during Fashion Week, I thought to myself... This dress BELONGS on me. End of story. Turns out it is designed by one of my favorite girly designers, Rachel Antonoff. I could do so much with this piece... pair it with oxfords, with booties, tights, decorative socks and heels... the list is endless. I am hoping this hits Bonadrag in the next few weeks, so I can wear it on my birthday! XO, Liza

They're Baaaaaaack!!!

And BETTER then ever! If you've been following the blog for a while or have gone back to old posts, you might have read Juliana and I confessing our love for the Finsk wedges. Last year's version was pretty amazing, but I think this year's is BEYOND! Those few studs on the toe, the contrast of the black suede and the brown wood... Perfection. Although they are pretty expensive (about $650), they are so unique and I doubt every girl on the street is gonna be sporting these. Definitely for the fashion forward risk taker. Take a look at these beauties below! XO, Liza

Item of the Day: Shape Shiftr Silk Tail Blouse

How amazing is this blouse that just surfaced on Nasty Gal Vintage? I have to have it for fall! It seems like such an easy throw on... and with a black bra or tank underneath? The back is my favorite part though. Perfect to throw on with my Christopher Kane for Topshop grommet bike shorts or basic leggings. Ahh... another item added to my wish list! XO, Liza

Item of the Day: Prada B.Y.O. Tote Bags

Alright, so my fellow fashionistas may have already heard about the new tote bags by Prada. At an affordable $295 (affordable for Prada), these little totes made from archived fabrics are only available at Prada boutiques. Many of you are probably thinking... 300 bucks for a canvas/nylon bag? Well you are pretty much paying for the label and the design. Personally, I think they are kind of adorable and perfect for summer. I would totally use this as something to throw my stuff in if I didn't feel like using my Goyard or hey... even my computer if I don't want to lug around my laptop case! Take a peak at the bags below. XO, Liza

Item of the Day: House of Holland Color Clear Acetate Sunglasses

To wear or not to wear the new House of Holland acetate sunglasses?

Finally available on www.ForwardForward.com , these little babies are priced at $190. I may have a very bizarre taste in sunglasses and the stranger the better for me, but these are definitely on my summer list of sunglasses to grab . They are costumey and fun and I love that they are literally all plastic!!! I want the pink ones. Super cute and what a fresh idea?!?! Thoughts everyone? Happy Monday. ;)

Item of the Day: YSL Fall/Winter 2010 Sunglasses

Hey guys. Sorry I've been MIA for the past few days. No wireless at my pop's house in Nashville. Had a blast in the summer southern heat with family and all my girlfriends. I'm sad to be back in LA and back to work, but very happy to see John.

I know it's just now summer, but I can't stop thinking about these amazing YSL shades. They are incredible. An absolute must have. A little Johnny Depp mixed with Ozzy. I live for it. I have been bingeing on my Cazals and I am due for some new shades. These might be the ones. Hope you're all well!

Item of the Day: Alexander Wang Brady Football Clutch

I am dead. on. the. floor. drooling and so is my mother. This bag is the cutest thing I have seen in a while. A perfect day to night clutch. Ugh, there are not enough words to describe the perfection! Hmm... I am calling Barney's to see if they have it yet. It's priced at $395. That is kind of doable for Wang, right? Maybe I could share it with my mom? Gah! K, I'm gonna go run around town in search for my new football! Pray for a TOUCHDOWN!!

The stitching is so darling!

Have always loved that design on the back from the Rocco bag.

Items of the Day: Pamela Love Rings

So everyday I must do my daily check of Shopbop, one of my favorite sites to shop on. There are always tons of things I want on there... now these Pamela Love rings are added to my never ending list unfortunately. The first one, the Double Snake Ring, is amaaaazing. I love double rings AND I love snakes. Score. The second one, the Peacock Ring, has tiny emeralds in it, as well as a flowered textured band. Adore these rings, but the prices are pretty steep... over $300 each. Yikes. I guess I'll wait until these go on sale... as if that will ever happen. XO, Liza

Item of the Day: VPL Bikini at Creatures of Comfort

To this day, Creatures of Comfort is one of my FAVORITE local boutiques here in LA. They have an awesome selection of VPL. These bikinis are super darling and a nice breather from the overly revealing strings that run amuck in this town. Check em' out.

Item of the Day: 3.1 Phillip Lim Lace Romper

Be still my heart! This romper is the best one I have spotted in a while. It just popped up on La Garconne this morning and priced at $425... it's gonna take a bit of saving, but I believe it to be a worthy purchase. Happy Saturday guys!

Item of the Day: Rachel Comey Backpacks

I can't handle how frickin cute these new Rachel Comey backpacks are! I would have included these fun printed packs on my recent backpack post, but they just surfaced on Opening Ceremony's site yesterday. I love the unique prints on these and the leather detailing... so great. I WANT! XO, Liza
