Sterling Knight Flirts With Jennie Garth

Actress Jennie Garth has a cougar crush on 21-year-old Sterling Knight!

For those of you who don't know, 38-year-old Jennie Garth, who is most famous for her role on the original "Beverly Hills, 90210", is married to Peter Facinelli, aka Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight movies. Well apparently Jennie introduced Sterling to Peter at the Eclipse premiere in Los Angeles on June 24. Peter commented, "My wife is having a cougar crush right now," he said. "And I think I had a man cougar crush for a minute, too." Lol!

Since then, Sterling has commented:

I didn't even know Jennie Garth was married. I'm not up on my news (laughs). I wasn’t really paying attention to her ring either, to be honest. But she's brilliantly gorgeous. So I was flirting really hard with her…going to town on the flirting game and then she introduces me to Peter. "I was like 'Ah, now I get it.' I'm flattered [about the crush]. Hopefully, she has a younger sister.

Aww, sorry! She doesn't, she's the youngest of seven!

Sonny With A Chance Returns March 14

'Nuff said!

"Sonny With A Chance" Musical Episode Coming Soon!

Tiffany Thornton recently revealed that she and her fellow "Sonny With A Chance" cast members are currently in the process of filming a musical episode for the series. The series will join the ranks of "Even Stevens" and "That's So Raven", both of which had musical episodes back in their hay day.

We're not at all surprised. Demi Lovato is an insanely successful recording artist, Tiffany thinks she is, and Sterling Knight is convinced he is too. And you can be sure Disney will milk this for all it's worth by putting the songs on iTunes.

We're not excited about this movie. At all.

Starstruck will premiere on Valentine's Day and Disney Channel is wasting no time promoting it. The latest music video is for the song of the same name, performed by Sterling Knight. It doesn't really sound like his genuine voice. Definitely processed!

Starstruck Date Changed

Disney's next original television movie, Starstruck, starring Sterling Knight and Chelsea Staub, among others, will now premiere on Sunday, February 14 (Valentine's Day!) instead of the originally-announced February 12 date. The soundtracks' February 9 release date remains the same.

Also, check out this newly-released trailer for the film. We gotta be honest, it looks pretty bad and we probably won't end up watching it.

The first Disney Channel Original Movie of the new year, Starstruck, is just around the corner. It won't debut until February 12, but its soundtrack will be available three days earlier on February 9. The track listing has just been revealed and is below:

It's not a great mix. Sterling Knight on nearly every song? No thank you. And does Mitchel Musso really need to be on every single soundtrack Disney puts out now? And a quick note, for those of you who don't know who Jasmine is, she's that girl who won the Radio Disney's Next Big Thing contest. She was our least favorite. And Anna Margaret is some unknown singer who signed on with Hollywood Records. So all in all, this soundtrack sounds pretty bad.

Starstruck Teaser Trailer!

Well, this is a little confusing. It was recently announced that Cody Linley had backed out of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, Starstruck, but it seems like it might've already been filmed! Well, maybe not. The teaser trailer above doesn't necessarily contain footage from the film itself, so maybe they shot it recently and are now filming the movie?

The film follows Jessica Olson (Danielle Campbell) who begins a relationship with popstar Christopher Wilde (Sterling Knight) one summer. However, when he returns home to Hollywood, he publicly denies the relationship. Chelsea Staub and "Sonny With a Chance"'s Brandon Smith are also in the film.

The film is due for a 2010 release on Disney Channel.

Disney's New Years Eve Celebration

This is a step up from years past!

For New Year's Eve this year, some of your favorite Disney stars will be participating in the "Disney Channel New Year's Eve Star Showdown!" Participants include Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Demi Lovato, Tiffany Thornton, Jason Earles, Jason Dolley, Selena Gomez, Doug Brochu, Allisyn Arm, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith, and Jennifer Stone. This year's hosts will be Ernie D. and Jake from Radio Disney.

The stars will compete in five games: "So Random", "Last Star Standing", "Sound Off", "Quick Draw", and the "New Years Eve Countdown Game".

Cody Linley previously mentioned preparing for the Disney Channel Original Movie, Starstruck. We're not quite sure what role he is, as it's now been announced that Sterling Knight ("Sonny With A Chance") will be playing the leading role of Christopher Wilder, Hollywood's biggest pop star who has a brief romance with Jessica Olson (Danielle Campbelle) in the mid-west. When he returns home to California, Christopher publicly denies the relationship.

Starstruck will be released in 2010 (sounds to us like it will be a summer movie).

Our Two Faves!

Our two favorite Disney darlings, Selena Gomez and Ashley Tisdale, appeared at the Summer Soiree - Magic of Mentoring event hosted by the Disney Channel at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on July 24.

Of course, there were other celebs there, like "Sonny With A Chance"'s Tiffany Thornton, Allisyn Arm, and Sterling Knight, as well as Selena's "Wizards" costars, Jake T. Austin, David Henrie, Maria Canals, David DeLuise, and Jennifer Stone. For whatever reason, Ashley's sister, Jennifer Tisdale, was there too.
