Selena Gomez shields her face while photogs snap shots of her and her "Wizards" costar David Henrie leaving Philippe Chow restaurant in Los Angeles on Friday night (August 27) after having what looks like a date!

We love these two together, so if they became a couple, we wouldn't complain!

David Henrie has revealed that he will be making a cameo as himself on an episode of "JONAS L.A."

He explains, "I got to play a heightened version of myself and go in there and mess with Kevin [Jonas] and challenge him to competition and just sort of mess with them, and come in as a cocky version of myself and that was really fun."

We haven't really been following "JONAS L.A." but we'll tune into this episode just to see the delicious David Henrie!!

Selena Gomez recently confirmed that the fourth season of "Wizards of Waverly Place", which has yet to begin filming, will be the last.

"I'm really heartbroken about [it...] That's gonna be a terrible time for me," she confesses.

But fret not! Selena also confirms that a second "Wizards" film is in the works. Still no word if it'll be a DCOM or be in theaters, but we, like you, are hoping for the latter!

Quote Of The Day

Premiere Of Lionsgate's Kick-Ass - Arrivals

"It was an awesome process. I’ve wanted to write for the longest time…I’ve always been writing on the side since I’ve been an actor, like skits and webseries. I got to sit in the writer’s room for eight weeks. I would go rehearse and then go sit with the writers; pitching stories and jokes. Then I got my episode called 'Alex's Logo'. I was the youngest writer in the room so I got to throw my 20-year-old perspective in the script. There’s a lot of things that kids will be able to relate to. I got to put some fun things in there like ‘the Jerk’ type of things. It was an amazing time."

David Henrie Responds

2nd Annual Streamy Awards

That was fast!

David Henrie had his rep clarify his arrest, which only happened last night. He explains:

Contrary to the reports that have circulated in the media, neither David Henrie nor his 16-year-old brother Lorenzo were trying to start a fight last night at Universal City Walk. In fact, they took appropriate measures to avoid an altercation. Unfortunately, private security guards released the instigators, and became extremely aggressive with Lorenzo.

When David attempted to protect his younger brother, the security guards became equally aggressive with him. Numerous witnesses at the scene confirmed that David and Lorenzo were simply trying to protect themselves from an unjustified use of force.

Well that all might be true, but he was still arrested. We don't think we're getting the full story here.

By the way, wouldn't you die to get a look at David's mugshot?! We would!

David Henrie Arrested!

KIIS FM's Jingle Ball 2009 - Arrivals

Yikes! He's on the fast track to becoming Disney's next trainwreck of a star!

"Wizards of Waverly Place" star David Henrie and his 16-year-old brother, Lorenzo, were arrested last night (April 15) in Los Angeles. The duo were taken into custody and cited for challenging someone to a fight after they nearly got into a brawl with an unknown person at Universal CityWalk. They were both released this morning to their father.

How embarrassing! Selena Gomez won't like this! But we will wait until David (hopefully) gives his side of the story before we pass judgment. What we will say, however, is that unless you're Miley Cyrus, Disney will drop you without a second thought if you give them trouble. Just sayin!

David Henrie Goes Behind the Camera

Variety's 3rd Annual Power of Youth Event - Arrivals

It's rare but it happens. David Henrie is one of few Disney stars to make the leap from acting to something behind-the-scenes. For Ashley Tisdale, it was producing, but for David, it's writing.

The 20-year-old "Wizards of Waverly Place" star wrote an episode for the series. "I wrote my own episode, and we shot that a couple of weeks ago. That was pretty big for me," he explains. "They haven’t set a release date, but I would imagine it will air in the next month or two. I know they’re almost done editing it right now."

We're guessing he didn't write the whole episode by himself, but the fact that he's dipping his toe into screenwriting is awesome! David also shared about his own production company, exploring directing, and becoming something of a Vince Vaughn or Steven Spielberg.

"
I have my own production company, I’m going to be writing and producing feature films. And there’s a new media side to that production company. I’m currently developing a Web series that I’m either going to star in or hire people to star in, and I’m going to be running the show almost. People can visit youtube.com/yutetv to see our projects."

It's nice to see him branching out! We like it!

New Wizards Movie Details

\ A Summer Soiree\ The Magic of Mentoring

For a lot of non-hardcore fans, one of the most important, yet rarely-mentioned plot lines of "Wizards of Waverly Place" may have slipped by. This line is, of course, the family competition. In each immediate wizards family (that means only parents and children), the sibling must compete against one another to see who can keep their powers into adulthood. Jerry, the patriarch of the Russo family, won his competition but gave up his powers in order to marry Theresa.

So, by now you've probably realized that Alex, Justin, and Max are also in a competition together. Who do you think will win? Most will probably say Justin, including the "Wizards" cast themselves! David Henrie, who plays Justin, says that his character will most likely end up keeping the familial powers. "He's the most responsible, he takes his studying seriously and he'll make the right decision at an important time," David explains. Jennifer Stone (Harper) agrees, but also adds Max into the mix. "I really like someone who works hard and is really disciplined, so I think Justin should win. It’d be hilarious if Max ended up with the powers because he’s the one that everybody least expects." Selena Gomez also picks Justin, but adds "It would be interesting to see Max win because there’s something hidden in him underneath. He’s really paying attention. [Alex] is so independent. She loves magic, but it’s not her No. 1 priority, whereas Justin lives and breathes it, and Max is there and does the work. Alex can find other things to do with her life and her friends and family."

But it's Jake T. Austin who describes the most creative outcome: "I would love it if, in the last episode, our long lost brother or sister that we never knew about came in and won the power … and then did a spin-off." Jake, who plays Max, also revealed a Wizards of Waverly Place: the Movie detail! The actor says that the movie will feature a mini wizards competition, but the results will only be temporary.

None of us, including the cast members, know who will end up keeping the Russo family magical abilities. Justin seems like the obvious choice, but could it end up being the underdog Max?

For now, we'll have to settle for the "temporary results" from Wizards of Waverly Place: the Movie, which premieres on August 28 on Disney Channel.
